THE USAGE OF GLOW IN THE DARK PIGMENT ON RESIN/ PAINT/ VARNISH/ GLUE

Recently, with the development of indoor or outdoor projects, lots of people will consider combining glow powder with the paint using on road marking, wall painting, sign boards, nail gel, pacakge printing, clothes or shoes, art and crafts, etc. Here are some questions that may draw up your attention:

1. Which kind of painting is better for glowing pigment?

Usually we will suggest to choose clear or transparent paint firstly. Becasue if glow powder mixing with dark color paint, it will low down the glowing effect of the finished glowing paint. Using clear or transparent paint could get the glowing effect to maximum.

2. What is the added proportion of glow powder?

For the ratio of the glow powder using on paint/varnish, it is suggested to add about 30-50% (1:1 is the perfect ratio) glow powder. The added proportion could be adjusted according to your application, material, objects size, producing cost, etc. But not suggest less than 10%.

3. How many year the glow powder can stay on the road line?

If keep the glow powder in Sealed storage, JULIANG glow powder could be kept in even 20 years. If mixing with paint, then is depended on the paint (medium); If paint is there, then will keep glowing.  After finishing painting the glow in the dark paint, could paint a layer gloss oil above to protect it.
